CCTV Drain Camera Surveys
CCTV drain camera surveys are a big part of our armoury when it comes to identifying blockages and current or potential structural drainage issues and defects. These defects include displaced joints, dropped pipework, pipework bellies, breakage and cracking in the pipework. The last thing anyone wants is a collapsed drain! Collapsed drains are a serious problem and will then involve a dig up or a drain re-route to put things right again. Obviously, the ideal outcome is to catch these issues and prevent them from worsening.
So, for example, if you have been suffering from unexplained repeat blockages, foul smells, rat or root intrusion, a camera survey can pinpoint these issues. A plan of action can then be put in place. Repairs such as drain patch lining or root cutting may be required to fix the problem. See our repairs page here for greater detail.
We offer a homebuyers CCTV camera survey service as well so if you are looking to purchase a new property, get in touch to arrange your professional survey. This survey comes with a full report and video footage.

The images above show the excellent condition of some old cast iron rainwater pipework after we had cleaned it with our picote machine. The pipework really came up a treat and will be good to go for years to come. The customer had been suffering from flooding and leaking issues from the roof of their building which were due to blockages in the gully inlets on the roof.
We cleared the blockages and recommended a full pipework clean. They were more than happy to have this work completed and were delighted with the end result as we were too.
